KEVIN GILL

Kevin Gill is a mixed media artist from St. Louis Missouri whose wheelhouse is in printmaking as he’s been an active printmaker since 2010. He specializes in Macabre, Surrealism, Urban Arts, and Tattoo Illustration, he gets his inspiration from other artists and mental illness as he advocates for Mental Health. He has shown his work in many showings and fairs like the Cherokee Print Bazaar; STLCC Meramec Contemporary Art Gallery; Galeria Obscura; Gallery FAB; Soulard Art Gallery; The Hawthorn; The Bermuda Projects and St. Louis University Museum of Art. In the spring of 2020 Kevin won the Art and Soul Award for being a dedicated, hard-working, prolific artist and worker, making this his first ever art award. Later in 2022 he has received a People's Choice Award from the Soulard Art Gallery and 3rd Place in the South Grand Chalk Walk. From 2015-2020 he was a Professor’s Assistant at STLCC Meramec giving him the inspiration to pursue a teaching career.  He received his Associate’s in 2020, he is looking to further his journey with a Bachelor’s received in 2022.
